I too have fallen prey to the Cullen's. I resisted the urge to pick up Twilight as long as I could, but post after post on my Google Reader raved about this series chronicling a vampire love story. Sounds ridiculous, right? Trust me, people aren't lying when they say you will become obsessed with finishing these books, find yourself crushing on a teenage vampire, and using the word "vampire" in your daily life.
I am completely worthless lately. I have two weeks of shows on my DVR to catch up on (not that that qualifies me as being worthless). I work, I eat, and then I snuggle up in bed with my favorite vampire. I'm off to Target to pick up New Moon right now.
Pick up Twilight and I dare you not to finish it wanting more.

I've also fallen into the trap. I avoided it for so long...it was bound to happen. Harry Potter I can avoid. Vampires are completely a different story!
They live up to the hype, don't they? Pretty soon I'm going to have to re-read all of them to avoid withdrawal symptoms :).
Yay!!! It always makes me feel so much better when another ADULT woman falls in love with Edward Cullen... I realize you didn't say that exactly, but I know it's what you mean. :)
i'm adding them to my list! but, i should preface that i have yet to finish the harry potter series so i will be say oh, ten years behind everyone else. don't tell me what happens!

I'm about to begin this little journey myself. There are just way too many recommendations for it...and now you. It's all anyone can be blog about. I can't take it--I give in! My goal is to finish before the movie comes out....we'll see how that works out!

I got halfway through the 3rd and lost interest but the first two rocked my world!
I barely talked to anyone at the start of our Mexico vacation b/c I was feverishly reading Twilight. If being obsessed w/ vampires is wrong, I so don't want to be right =)
